My worthy salute to the people who spend there time reading what a person has in his mind, his feelings, his liking and disliking….what he is up to…!!
I don’t know why I am writing this….may be I just want to write something….may be I am fascinated by the concept of blogs….may be something is there with me that I think needs to be shared publicly.
A year or two ago…. I came across this book which gave me an idea that supports me in doing wrong things….which I keep on doing regularly. Now it has been such a scene that if I do correct things I give it several thoughts due to the dilemma ….whether I am right or wrong.
There is this tendency of people of making decision that cause less pain, irrespective of the fact that they may be wrong. Why sometimes the decisions we make are regretful? Is it the fact that they are taken in excitement without giving it a thought or after so many wrong decisions you don’t want to take a correct decision. Being spontaneous do pays of sometimes but hits back hard when doesn’t go in a right direction. Giving each thing a priority is the way to achieve goals in an efficient manner. But the personal feeling says lets compromise on the pleasure for this very moment in terms of stability….
To do things as they are told to you seems to be far better option rather than to take hard decisions because your decision will not only impinge on you but a collection of individuals who are close to you and whom you do not want to bear the consequences of your dim-witted assessments.
Retorts Appreciated

i wouldn't sy this to b a blog. its
rather a very thought provoking talk coming from a deep thinking mind. i could relate everything to my personal life n the way things ve affected my decision making... n i feel tat my mind state rather than mind set has influenced my decisions... i appreciate the clarity of the writer n how simply his thoughts ve reached out to my mind..
My dear friend tried to express his idea in a very thoughtful way... i would like to appreciate the effort and initiative he has taken on this particular topic...
i agree u dear friend that most of the wrong decisions takes place as the result of sudden action with out the thought process. but in the same time it is to be pointed out that most of these decisions may be taken in some crucial situations. so we can never blame such decisions, even if they are harmful to us or others..but we should think as much as possible each and every point of decision making if it is feasible..
Mind state...or...Mind set
i think this should be the next topic for Talk Show....
n i agree to ketan....manya times we dont know...the decisions taken by us are due to mind state or mind set.....rather we never give it a thought...we just go with the things as they come to us...great thought....written in simple n beautiful words.....but i think its a bit incomplete....still a good attempt....!!!
I totally agree to ketu, there are situations where in we follow the least resisting path though it may be the wrong one. Its just bcoz we dont want the discomfort associated with the right one....!!! Many of the times it is also our preconcieved notion "Mind Set" that takes the decision,it creates the inflexibility while taking the decision which turns out to be wrong sometimes.....!!!!
very rightly said n well justified .
der r situations were we r prone to make immedite decisions n we hardly h hv tym 2 think whether its right or wrong.n after deciding we r a state of dilemma dat decision taken was correct or not.
hmmmmmm
den we feel guilty
very intrestin thought put by by ma gud frnd
worth 2 b praised..!!
well, i smell something...something fishy, something unusual, something unfamiliar.....and something un-noticed.
This blog about his Mind set and Mind state is a fantabulous piece of writing... i must say. inside that little skull of his there is a gem of a brain which is now very sharp and precious. I always knew that Ketan is Endowed with loads of talent and promises and this piece is sure-enough to prove it all...
I agree with wat he says...even ketan must be knowing this, but yes..i thank him for bringing it to my notice. I applaud your efforts brother.
good job...nicely put forward. a nice effort to explain "WHAT IT IS". it can be more complete with addition of "WHAT SHOULD BE". I mean no boring lecture or anything, but what you feel can be the way out.
You used pretty simple words and mind well, this is an asset which you must keep with you all your life. I just love reading a language that comes from straight with-in and not from the thesaurus or a GRE book.
keep it up....good going.
well if one is tough enough, its always the mind set that prevails... but living in a world where the eye gets caught into all sorts of colourful webs n of course the peer puddle to deal with, it gets really hard to avoid the mind state... woteva it is... i'm not gonna pretend to be a modest liar here... we all got to prove a point to the world n without the prowess of instantaneous decision making to spontaneous situations... it will be a rough deal with this battlefield... so hasty conclusions r inevitable... n wot is life without that zing???
hey city...
didnt knw u write so well.... rather didnt knw u think so much..
taking decisions is sometimes the most frustating thing to do...coz then we hv to choose b/w our emotions n practicality....
some decisions r jus not in our hands...n this makes us feel helpless..you know its human nature to hv everything in control..
i feel tht ne decision tht u take today...be it a spontaneous one or a well thought process..decides wht u'll do tmrw....its all linked
some may argue tht all is pre-determined...
but i feel tht ur today's action is ur tmrw's outcome..it is the vicious circle noone can escape...however hard one tries..
neway..u jus penned down ur thoughts very well...such tht ne reader wud connect to it..
continue writing...its a gr8 stress buster..
I think shivani said it all...even i dint knew u think so much. There are a lot of things hapenin in my life presently and dude u really made me think whether m taking my decisions correctly or m doin it jus coz it wud be the easy way out....it was very thoughtful.gud work
well I think its unfair to put other people through trouble when u know ur bad decision may affect them adversely. However there are times when we need to be selfish.
I guess knowing where to draw the line, is what matters thats all... and trying our best to take good decisions for the better of mankind ;) hehee
dont take life too seriously also chill :D
