When ever you think back…..I mean when ever you go into flash backs you see your sweet memories, awful confrontations, funny happenings and certainly achievements. I have many such memories to cherish, many confrontations to forget and of course many funny happenings to laugh upon. This piece of my writing will tell what I have achieved in my past four years of engineering.
Once with friends at McDonalds I noticed a small girl – “There was lying a chair, the one on which small kids are made to sit while having their food. It was of a decent height with respect to the girl. She was trying to climb it and eventually got success. Then she screamed …… Maammy……!!! Mein to chair pe baith gayi.” This is nothing when we see it but on observing I found something very interesting. On her own level, it was an achievement and that too without anyone’s help.
This sentence was backspaced several times and I am still not sure that what I have achieved. I have certainly achieved many things. First and foremost is teacher’s attention. I tell you looks are deceptive, my first look will suggest that I am studious; I usually behave well with teachers. So they get this wrong impression that – “Ok this guy is nice and he is the one who can perform nicely in exams and academics”. But the dark lovers like me are carefree and careless also useless, so after attaining teachers attention I slowly degrade myself in their perspective.
Ok… relation wise I made good and healthy friends. I should also mention the fact that I got my soulmate. By God’s grace, hopefully I will achieve an engineering degree. I so called “got placed”. I have achieved a level of pouring alcohol into me that is 3-4 pegs (either vodka or whisky).
Aaahh……!!!
You see in college we the students have this tendency to call people not with their name but some alias given to them.
Amey – better known as Tappu
Ritik – better known as Khattu
Wasim Da – better known as Pappu
Shekhar – better known as Chotu or Anna
And many many many more instances are there………
I Ketan Ashok Jaiswal am given an alias of “Daddu”, name given to me by Joshi (my bestest friend).
Daddu’s words do matter.
Daddu’s opinion does count.
Daddu should be there if there is some function in college, if there is some party.
May be sometimes people think that this alias thing is just for bullying people but I strongly believe that the title of DADDU is my greatest achievement.
Proud to be called Daddu…!!
Daddu
